(WL-1158) Ramones Band T-Shirt

The Ramones were a punk rock band which formed in Queens, New York, United States in 1974. The band originally consisted of Joey Ramone (vocals), Johnny Ramone (guitar), Dee Dee Ramone (bass) and Tommy Ramone (drums).  The band originally formed as a 3-piece with Dee Dee on bass/vocals and Joey drumming. Soon realizing this line-up would not work, their producer, Thomas Erdelyi (aka Tommy Ramone) joined as drummer and Joey took on lead vocal duties. This began the line-up for their first three albums. Tommy left the band in 1978 and was replaced by Marky Ramone. Marky was kicked out of the band in 1983 and was replaced by Richie Ramone, who left in 1987. Marky returned to the band in late 1987. The drumming duties, between Richie’s departure and Marky’s return, were filled by former Blondie drummer Clem Burke. He only played two shows and was fired due to his inability to keep tempo with the rest of the band. Dee Dee left the band in 1989 and was replaced by C. J. Ramone. The Joey/Johnny/Dee Dee/Marky lineup was the longest lasting lineup in the band’s career (15 years). The Joey/Johnny/CJ/Marky lineup of the band remained together until the band’s final split in 1996 for a total of eight years. They were one of the first punk rock bands and the influence of their straightforward, stripped-down sound has been immeasurable. They formed in Queens, New York in 1974 and from there on they slogged & toured through an often unwelcoming rock music industry for 22 years, playing 2,263 gigs before hanging up their trademark leather jackets.

(WL-1157) Winds Of Plague Band By Atticus T-shirt

Winds Of Plague is a symphonic deathcore band from LA, USA. The band was originally named “bleak december”, but changed their name in April 2005, getting their name from the lyrics in Unearth’s song “Endless”, from their 2002 EP of the same name. The band contains the heavy breakdowns and stance towards music of the new wave of deathcore bands, but their unique use of more epic, melodic keyboard driven passages put them in the front of the pack. Their music has been compared with Bleeding Through. Also, reviews, press, and others have stated that they incorporate an atmosphere of scandinavian black metal. However, fans and the band themselves (in a video interview) would disagree with the label. They tend to mix American elements of metalcore and power metal with European symphonic death metal.

(WL-1154) Zwan Band T-shirt

Zwan were a short-lived “indie supergroup” that formed in 2001 and disbanded in 2003. Formed by Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan (guitar/vocals), the band featured Paz Lenchantin (A Perfect Circle) on bass, Jimmy Chamberlin (also of the Smashing Pumpkins) on drums, and David Pajo (Slint/Tortoise/Papa M) and Matt Sweeney (Chavez) on guitar with Corgan. The band’s only album, Mary Star of the Sea, was likened by critics to The Smashing Pumpkins ultra-successful Siamese Dream, but was laden with a notable positivity that was not to be found in The Smashing Pumpkins. The band heavily toured in its short tenure, with different material according to the different eras. The first period, which spans from the formation of the band to the inclusion of Paz Lechantin to the lineup, featured electric songs, some of which were abandoned prior to the album, in part because Billy Corgan thought they were too much Smashing Pumpkins like. Among the songs, The Empty Sea, Glorious or Spilled Milk and God’s Gonna Set This World on Fire, which they still played in some concerts in other incarnation of Zwan. Zwan had two incarnations: the true poets of Zwan (or simply Zwan) and Zwan. Zwan, an acoustic incarnation, with an almost completely different set of songs.
